Data controller

The data controller is Denaro Technologies Inc, Delaware, USA, operator of the RentalCard service.

What we collect

We only collect what we need to handle your access request and improve our campaigns. We never collect payment or card data.

• Your email address.
• Your answers to the profiling questions (whether you have a credit card, whether you could get one, when you leave, whether you have been refused a rental before).
• Technical and attribution data collected automatically: UTM parameters, referrer, page variant, language, date and time, IP address and user agent.
• The consent log: text, version, identifier and timestamp of the consent given.

Why we process data and on what basis

We process your data to contact you about your access request, to complete the request before you leave, and to measure and optimize our campaigns.

The legal basis is your explicit consent (art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), given by ticking the box in the form. You can withdraw it at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

Cookies and measurement tools

We use necessary technical cookies and, only with your consent, analytics and marketing tools. No non essential tool runs before consent. Details are in the Cookie Policy.

Recipients and processors

Your data may be processed on our behalf by providers acting as processors, chosen for reliability and compliance.

• Site hosting and infrastructure (Vercel).
• Managed database for storing leads.
• Transactional email for address confirmation (Resend or Postmark).
• Analytics and advertising tools, activated only with consent (Google Analytics 4, Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, PostHog).

Transfers outside the European Union

The controller is based in the United States. When your data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, the transfer relies on the Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC) approved by the European Commission, with additional measures where needed. You can request information about these safeguards by writing to privacy@rentalcard.app.

How long we keep data

We keep data for up to 12 months from the last contact, then we delete or anonymize it, unless the law requires longer retention.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, request rectification or erasure, restrict or object to processing, and receive your data in a portable format. You can withdraw consent at any time.

To exercise these rights, write to privacy@rentalcard.app. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority, in Italy the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
